Who We Are

Our Background

Veterans Villages (VV) was originally founded to create housing for female Veterans graduating from shelters and addiction recovery programs. There is simply not enough housing for these women (and men), who have valiantly served our country. A group of volunteers came together to address this problem by creating the Village concept. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing safe, respectful, resilient Affordable Housing for America’s Veterans.

Our Veterans have earned a safe place to call home.

Our Mission

The mission of the Veterans Villages is to build housing every Veteran is proud to call home. VV’s singular goal is to address the increasing need for high-quality Affordable Housing in the US, for our most vulnerable citizens: Veterans being our focus.

Our Vision and Promise

  • Transform lives by providing safe, respectful housing for our Veterans.
  • Create a “Village” for residents to thrive by sharing experiences and supporting one another.
  • Provide programs and resources to ensure residents break the cycle of housing insecurity.
  • Be a resource for others to build Affordable Housing.
  • Commit 90 cents of every dollar donated directly to projects and programs for our residents.
  • Ensure transparency of programs, projects, and financials.
